Following safety regulations, the machine is designed to contain radiation, smoke, and other contaminants, ensuring a safe and clean working environment. Safety locks prohibit unauthorized or accidental access to the machine, while emergency stops immediately shut down operations when triggered, preventing potential accidents.
The key switch ensures that only the owner or authorized personnel can start the machine, adding an extra layer of security and preventing unauthorized use. Additionally, the water state is monitored in real time, so the system will immediately issue a warning if its temperature exceeds 42°C.
A new generation controller, Ruida 8445G-MOD5, supports WiFi connectivity, has 1 GB of onboard memory, a mobile app, and allows you to photograph a design directly in the app and send it to the machine for processing. Full control of your machine from a smartphone or tablet.
The laser head has a built-in height sensor that independently corrects focus when new material is placed on the table. Simply place your material and press the Focus button — the machine automatically sets the precise focal distance, eliminating manual adjustments and reducing setup time.
The integrated chiller keeps the machine compact and tidy, reducing external cables, noise, and setup complexity. It works in synchronization with the machine, preventing laser tube overheating and operator errors. This ensures stable cutting performance and extends the laser tube’s lifespan significantly.
The Wattsan 0503 Hobby-T holds FDA Class 1 laser certification, meaning the machine is certified as safe when operated according to instructions. This certification is important for businesses selling laser-engraved products in the US market and for clients who require compliance documentation.
