Product Features
The Wattsan 0503 is built on a rigid frame structure with a 2.9 mm thick metal body that eliminates vibrations during high-speed operation. All frame elements are fired for increased durability. This construction ensures positioning accuracy up to 0.01 mm, making it suitable for serial production and precision work.
Unlike roller guide systems, the 0503 uses linear guide rails for the X and Y axes, driven by 3-phase stepper motors. This combination delivers higher travel speeds, greater load capacity, and longer service life — making the machine well suited for continuous production environments.
The standard 60W CO2 laser tube provides a good balance of cutting depth and speed. An expansion slot in the machine body allows upgrading to a longer, more powerful tube without modifications. Anodized blade lamellae prevent laser backfiring into the head or operator.
The rear panel of the 0503 can be opened to allow processing of materials longer than the working area — such as fabric rolls, long planks, or sheet materials. This significantly expands the machine's practical capabilities without requiring a larger format machine.
